Project Profile: New Benchmark for Water Sports – Jet Ski Dock

As recreational water sports grow in popularity, jet skis have become a leading leisure activity, loved for their speed and thrill. However, jet skis are heavy and generate strong instantaneous impact forces. Frequent docking and launching cause significant wear to facilities, placing extremely high demands on a dock’s stability, impact resistance and corrosion resistance.

Upgraded Core Material

We use our self-developed high molecular weight high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pontoons. The material features 30% enhanced UV resistance and greater overall strength. Built to withstand the powerful instant impact from jet skis berthing and launching, it delivers a load capacity of over 350 kg per square metre. It fully supports passenger boarding and alighting, and remains free from deformation and cracking even after long-term service.

Optimised Structural Design

Instead of the traditional straight-line layout, we adopted a wave-resistant modular arrangement. Tightly interlocked pontoons together with pile positioning systems form a rigid integrated platform. This structure effectively disperses horizontal and vertical stress caused by waves. The dock stays extremely stable with minimal movement, even when multiple jet skis approach and depart rapidly at the same time.
