Why Choose Plastic Floating Docks?

Plastic floating docks are the preferred choice for many domestic and commercial users. You can use them as docks for cage fish farming, swimming, boating, jet skiing, and more! These docks are lightweight, modular, easy to maintain, and affordable.

They are ideal on reservoir lakes with fluctuating depths or on waterways that are often struck by large waves. Since the plastic dock floats on top of the water, the amount of freeboard stays at a constant rate. This means the dock will not end up underwater or high and dry. A plastic floating dock system is also great for people who don’t want to pollute their environment with harmful chemical finishes and more.

Step-by-step Guide to Install Plastic Floating Dock

Plastic floating docks are available in the form of pre-designed individual pieces that you can then put together in different configurations. Hisea Dock can customize the size, height, color, shape and any other specifications for your plastic floating dock system. Once all your pieces get delivered to you, you can easily assemble them using the following steps.

Step 1: Unbox the Components of the Floating Dock

Once you have settled the location to put your plastic floating dock, check for a nearby concrete surface without obstructions where the docking system can be assembled. Put out the fasteners and pins that were attached for shipping purposes and start laying out the parts. Look at the reference dock cubes to help you place the pieces in the right location. Make sure they are oriented in the same way, or you will have a hard time completing your dock assembly.

Step 2: Align the Different Sections in Your Chosen Configuration

To hook up the parts, you have to align and stack the cubes in a distinct order. Initially, pivot the central section facing the bow section on the port side to overlap the tab holes. Double-check if the tabs are stacked properly so that the sections sit entirely flush.

Next, place yourself on the bow starboard corner of the central section and pivot it to the bow section. Then, again, maintain the proper cube stacking sequence.

Step 3: Start Connecting the Different Sections

Once your floating dock system is fully structured, place the handle of the assembly key into the second pin opening from the port side. Use this as leverage to force the dock parts tightly together by connecting pin into the port side’s opening.

Then use the assembly key to lock the attaching pin by pivoting at 45° angle. Make sure that the linking pin’s reference is facing the same direction. Proceed to insert the remaining connecting pins via the same method. Remember always to use the assembly key in supporting the alignment of cubes.

Fasten the last three tab locations and secure to tighten them and insert spacers if necessary. Continue to connect any additional parts using the same method.

Step 4: Attach the Bungee Cable

Assure that the looped end of the bungee cable is linked to the shaft of the designated starboard bow connecting pin. Next, insert and lock the pin. Secure the deck pulley into the starboard area of the floating dock through clearing out the indicated connecting pin, passing the knotted end of the line down by the four tabs, then securing the knot below tab four, besides inserting and locking the pin.

Make sure that the knot is safeguarded beneath tab four, and that the line is snuggling between the tabs and pin shaft. If everything is set, then your floating dock is ready to be launched!

Step 5: Launch Your Floating Dock System

Before you move your docking system into the water, secure at least two safety lines to the dock. Together with your helper, launch the floating dock system and temporarily tie it up at the place where it will be moored. If there are buoyancy beams included with your floating dock kit, install them at this point right away.

Your dock assembly and installation are finished at last! Check other parts of the floating structure and make sure you did not miss anything. Recheck your references and kit box if to make sure.
